Link to Bells and Bows part 1
**********************************
The Doctor looked over at Jack as he materialized the TARDIS in Ianto’s parents back garden. Jack was bouncing on the balls of his feet, and grinned widely at his mate as the Doctor looked over. The Doctor hadn’t been able to figure out what was causing the heightened energy levels in Jack this last couple of weeks, but the immortal didn’t seem too bothered by the puzzle, and the Doctor was now fairly sure that Jack knew what was going on.
“Jack…..”
“I promise, I’ll tell you what’s going on as soon as we know if it’s worked.” Jack grinned over at him before he could finish.
“Promise me something Jack, whatever is going on, it isn’t a danger to you, or the TARDIS or anyone else here.”
“The TARDIS and I would never instigate anything that could possibly harm that which belongs to us,” Jack said, his eyes glowing gold for a brief moment.
“OK, I’m sorry.” The Doctor soothed his mate.
Angharad Jones hurried out of the back door as soon as she heard the TARDIS start to materialize in the back garden, and stood waiting impatiently for the door to open. Finally the Doctor poked his head out of the door, grinning at her.
“Come on in.”
“OK,” she said with a smile, walking in the door.
“Where is everyone?” She asked.
“Jack just went to tell them we had landed. The children and Ianto are checking on their botany project, and I assume that Terrell is there with them. He seems fascinated by the roses.”
“Roses? He didn’t seem all that interested in roses last time he was here on Earth.”
“These are very special roses Angharad, you’ll likely never find them growing on Earth. Come on, I’ll show you, they’re probably all still there anyway, Jack won’t let them neglect these roses.”
He led her through the corridors, and as they approached the doors of the lab, they heard the children giggling, and Jack laughing. The Doctor opened the door and they stepped inside.
Ianto and Terrell were kissing lightly, Ianto’s hand tangled in Terrell’s longer locks.
“Hello Ianto mab,” Angharad said in amusement. He pulled away from Terrell, startled, and blushed an interesting shade of scarlet.
“Hello mam. Sut ydych chi heddiw?” He stuttered.
“Very well Ianto, as are you, it seems.” She snickered, somehow making him blush even harder. Taking pity on her son, she turned her attention to Jack and the children.
“Hello dears,” she said, bending to kiss the children on the cheek.
“Hello.” They chorused, returning the kisses.
“Jack.” She smiled, going up on her toes to kiss him on the cheek.
“Angharad.” He took her hand, kissing the back gallantly.
“Such a flirt.” She chuckled, swatting his arm.
Finally she turned her attention to Ianto and Terrell. Ianto had lost the fiery coloring now, but still looked slightly chagrinned as he leaned down to kiss her cheek.
“Hello mam.”
“Ianto, I am so pleased to see you. Terrell, good to see you again, everyone is so looking forward to welcoming you to the family.” She smiled, pulling him into a hug.
“Thank you,” he said, ducking his head slightly.
“So, where are these strange roses you promised to show me?” She asked the Doctor.
“If you’re looking for the ones Ianto and the children are growing, then they won’t even start to shoot for a while yet.” Jack said, looking up from where he was now lifting the small pots back up into a warm chamber.
“Oh well, never mind.” She sighed.
Jack stood and offered her his arm.
“Come on, the Doctor can get the kids changed, and I’ll show you my roses.” He smiled.
“That sounds like a bad chat up line.” Ianto laughed as he ducked out, pulling Terrell after him.
“What?” Jack asked, genuinely confused. As much time as he had spent on Earth, some things still completely escaped him.
“Never mind Jack, I’ll explain as we go.” Angharad, laughed, patting his arm.
“Deal.” He grinned back.
They left the room together, leaving the Doctor to chivvy the children back to their room to get changed.
Ianto and Terrell got to the console room first and found Huw standing just inside the door, looking a little uncertain.
“Ianto mab, I thought your mother might be in here.”
“Hello dad, yeah, she is, she went off to the gardens with Jack, they won’t be long.” Ianto said, going over and pulling his father into a bear hug.
“Gardens?”
“Yeah, I think that she’s interested in his roses.”
The Doctor hustled the children in a couple of minutes later.
“Jack and Angharad not here yet?” He asked as the children ran over to Huw for a hug.
“Nope.” Ianto shrugged.
“If she’s gotten to a garden, she won’t be back for a while. Come on, I’ll get the kettle on and get some tea started while we wait for them.” Huw laughed, shepherding them all out and down the garden path.
“I hope you know that everyone is going to be here for dinner tonight,” Huw said to Ianto as his son helped him make the tea,
“I thought she might invite everyone. Is….is everyone alright with me and Terrell getting married?” Ianto asked.
“Of course they are. She’s had your sisters helping out with the arrangements. The reception is organized, the registry office booked, the invites sent and replies received. You and Terrell just have to go down tomorrow and present your documents. Your mam went down there and explained that you were traveling, and would only be back in the
“So, when is the actual date? It might be nice to know when I’m marrying Terrell.”
“Next Friday.” Ianto’s father laughed.
“I don’t suppose that there is any way Terrell’s family will be here?” Huw asked.
“He has none, his parents died when he was still a child.”
“That is sad.”
“Yes, but he has a family now, me, Jack the Doctor and their family, you guys.”
“Yes.” Huw agreed.
They went through to the other room with the tray of tea things, and settled down to wait for the others.
Jack and Angharad turned up nearly an hour later, and Angharad was cradling a pot carefully between her hands, and the Doctor saw the peach crystal rose glinting in it. He raised a curious eyebrow at Jack, knowing how much he treasured those roses.
*I can grow more, and this is right. A special gift for a special woman. She accepted a lot without a qualm.*
Jack sat down beside his mate and kissed him, letting the Doctor feel the now familiar sparks darting over his tongue.
“So, we have a few things that still need to be discussed before you two go down the registry office to hand your papers in tomorrow,” Angharad said brightly, rubbing her hands and sitting down beside her husband, squeezing his hand. She was so excited that she was finally going to see her little boy married, even if he couldn’t be said to be settling down exactly.

I'm writing the next segment now, but I'm kind of stuck on the Earth ceremony. Having never gotten married in a register office, (or at all, EVER, shudder at the very thought), I'm having trouble writing it.

I am definitely writing the Pair Union, in many ways, that will be easier, because I can shape it myself.
I'll try to get something up in the next day or two, you did just give me a bit of an idea I can work with.

No, there is no specific day when I update, it will always depend on how busy I am at work, or if the chapters are behaving for this and the other fics. There are four running at the moment, and you can find them by their tags if you want to. They are tagged begin, oops, and hope.
there are also two waiting to become series when something finshes, because, yes, I am a masochist.
The only other fic I am running at the moment is in an anime fandom.

This one is giving me problems, cos I know NOTHING about civil cerimonies at all. I've been to like, four weddings in my whole life, and they were all in churches.
