VIP members have access to the chapters as they're translated, rather than waiting for them all to be compiled in books and translated that way. Although, the book-translations are a fair bit more polished than the chapter-translations, but the chapter translations are much faster if you need your monthly Guyver fix. ;)
I didn't go for the VIP membership, I assumed that like many of these boards I have seen, it was a grade you earned by making 500+ posts or somesuch (I joined a CCS board once which wouldn't let you download episodes until you had made 350 posts - needless to say, I found another way to get them, lol), but now I know it is a way to support the board, I will definiately do that when I get paid next week. I signed up as amythestice, I haven't spent much time there yet, though, I spend most of my time on lj, it's one of the few sites the works netnanny doesn't seem to mind.

lol! Day-glo pink battle jammies *snort* it was meant to be a kind of violet color, but burn went too dark, and color too light. (Yes, I did color it *g*) Is that better now *g*?
All of the Zoalords wear some variety of battle-jammies, even Kenji, when he's in uniform; just don't tell them I said that. ;D And yes, that looks much better.
