Torchwood - The Hussy
Does anyone else think that Gwen is a cheap hussy? She has a live in boyfriend/fiance - Rhys. She shagged Owen at the drop of a hat, and she has been making cow eyes at Jack since day one.
In End of Days she took up residence in the morgue, stopping Ianto from having any time with HIS 'dead' lover. You could see the disappointment on his face when he followed the others from the room.
Also in regards to end of days, people seem to think it significant that Jack chose Gwen over anyone else to drive him to his confrontation with Abbedon, thinking it indicates some 'romantic' feelings for her, on the contrary, I believe exactly the opposite. I think he took her as a punishment, and to make sure he couldn't be stopped. If he had gone with Owen or Ianto, they would have been able to prevent him doing what he needed to do, as he was so weak. Also in taking Gwen, he forced her to face the consequences of her actions. SHE spurred the others on, SHE ultimately made the decision to open the rift, SHE punched him, for doing no more than telling a few home truths, allowing Owen the opportunity to disarm and murder him, so SHE had to watch him die, apparently permanently, in agony. She had to see him paying the price for their actions
