Tosh walked into the hub, checking out the locations of the others as she crossed to her desk. Gwen and Owen were bickering about something over by the water tower, and Paul was up in the tourist office, so this was a perfect time to spring her surprise on them. Slipping into her chair, she pulled her camera out of her bag and plugged the card into the reader on her desk. ‘Accidentally’ hitting the key to put the pictures on every screen in the hub, she started the download, and then sat back in her chair to wait.
Tosh hid her grin as she heard the bickering tailing off, then two pairs of footsteps heavily impacting on the grids as they ran over.
“Tosh, what are these pictures?” Gwen demanded.
“They’re the pictures from the wedding that I went to last week.”
“So tea boy is back on Earth? And you didn’t think to tell us this?”
“Oh, he’s not back, he was just visiting. He wanted his friends and family at his wedding.” She grinned as the final picture came up, her standing with Jack and the Doctor on one side of her, and Ianto and Terrell on the other.
“You were at a wedding, with Torchwoods most wanted, and you didn’t report it?” Owen asked darkly.
“Oh, grow up Owen. They haven’t done anything wrong, none of them. Jack and the Doctor have both saved this planet, loads of times, and how did you, and Torchwood, thank them for this? You threatened their newborn son. You forced Ianto to make a choice, to protect an innocent baby or let it happen, so this is all your fault Owen.”
“Tosh, we still have to answer to Torchwood one,” Gwen said, putting on her most earnest face.
“No, we don’t. You choose to answer to One. Jack managed to hold this place separate, to keep them from getting things they shouldn’t have, from persecuting aliens that had done no harm. You’re just interested in an easy life Owen. You let them have their pick of the alien tech we find, whether it’s safe or not, you let them take, and torture harmless aliens that we could easily allow to go on their way. All I can say is I am so relieved we don’t have access to the secure archive, so you can’t let them loose in there.”
“What do you expect us to do Tosh? I’m not Jack, I don’t have the authority to tell them no.”
“Yes you do, you are the head of Torchwood three now, Owen. Three, not One/a or any other kind of subsidiary of One. They only have rights here if you give them rights.”
Owen and Gwen stood there looking at her, open mouthed in shock. Tosh hadn’t let rip on them like that before. Owen looked at the picture from the wedding again, Tosh standing with the two happy couples.
“I’ll be in my office if anything happens,” he said quietly. He needed to think.

Terrell and Ianto lay on the sands of their private stretch of beach, the pale lilac surf of the violet ocean washing over their toes as they looked up at the star filled sky, two of the three moons shining down and turning the white sands a bright silver. The usually purple hued trees now showing shades of gray and black. The only artificial light anywhere in sight here was the wavering golden glow of the candle standing in the window of their little honeymoon cottage. The cottage itself was deceptively rustic, the fake driftwood walls and furniture disguising high tech communications equipment and holo projectors, along with a full kitchen.
“This is a truly beautiful place they brought us to,” Terrell murmured, propping himself up one elbow to look down at Ianto.
“Yes,” Ianto agreed, reaching up to tangle his fingers in Terrell’s dark hair to pull him down into a kiss.
Terrell deepened the kiss, rolling so his weight was more over Ianto, his hand stroking lightly down Ianto’s ribs, and over his hip.
Ianto whimpered, breaking the kiss for a moment.
“Let’s get back inside,” he gasped.
“Why? Here is good.” Terrell smiled, leaning back down to steal another kiss.
“What? But…..”
“Ianto, my love, this is a private beach, there is not another soul for at least a mile. There is nothing to be shy about.” Terrell chided, kissing along Ianto’s neck and shoulder, waiting for him to decide. He wasn’t going to push him on this.
“We don’t have any lube out here.” Ianto pointed out, and then he sighed and tugged Terrell down into another kiss.
“Tonight, we go in there, and make love where the supplies are, tomorrow night, we bring the supplies, and a blanket or something out here with is. Believe me, there are places I do not want sand getting while we’re making love.”
“Agreed.” Terrell laughed.
They walked hand in hand over the sand, into their little cottage, putting the safety glass over the candle as they carried it through to the bedroom.
Ianto sank back into the softly woven fabric of the sheets as Terrell kissed his stomach lightly, making him giggle slightly at the tickle. He closed his eyes to enjoy Terrell’s gentle kisses over his abdomen, thighs and stomach as strong, slick fingers probed his entrance, gently preparing him. He groaned as Terrell brushed his prostate teasingly.
“Please Terrell. Please, need you now.” He demanded.
“Anything for you, my love.”
Ianto could hear the smile in his lover’s voice as he shifted positions, the fingers slipping away and leaving him too empty. He opened his eyes at the blunt nudge, holding his husband’s eyes as he sank slowly into him.
“I love you, Terrell,” he said as he felt him seated fully within him.
“And I love you, my Ianto.”
Terrell kissed him gently as he started to lightly rock his hips, shifting over his prostate with every movement. Ianto tightened his legs around Terrell’s hips.
“More, harder, please.” He begged, the light movements driving him crazy. He needed more.
Terrell complied, deepening the kiss as he started to thrust harder. Ianto arched up to meet each thrust, moaning as one of Terrell’s hands slid between their bodies, grasping his erection. Ianto cried out, coming hard at the first touch. Terrell came as Ianto’s muscles clamped down around him. They came down slowly, Terrell resting over Ianto as they gasped. Terrell gently pulled out, shifting to rest at Ianto’s side, one hand lazily stroking over his chest.
“We need a shower,” Ianto said drowsily.
“Hmm, I suppose so. Come on,” Terrell said with a faint smile.
They heaved themselves off the bed, padding over to the hidden door to the bathroom.
“Whirlpool bath,” Ianto said with a grin.
“Oh yes, let’s rinse off and try it out.”
“What a good idea.” Ianto agreed.
They were going to enjoy this honeymoon, Ianto decided.
End of interlude.
