Good point! but then... given that in Torchwood, the Tardis seems to land IN the hub (given the wind and noise and all), and I sware I can see the Hand as the camera pans out right at the end of the last episode, but there it is in Jack's rucksack as he runs to jump onto the tardis above the hub, logic seems the least of RTD's and the rest's concerns! If you look closely just before the credits of episode 13 of Torchwood, there's definitely something glowing blue where the hand normally resided. I can't zoom in with my DVD player, so can't confirm my hypothesis, but am convinced it is the hand. By the way, have never delurked before finding your stories!! Keep writing!
